Jacob Sheffler 1811

Jacob only shows up in two records, his baptism and his confirmation, both in Westmoreland County.

However, there is a Jacob Sheffler in later censuses, living back in Northampton County. This is interesting for two reasons.

First, most of George Sheffler's Lutheran Community contemporaries come from Northampton County in the late 1700's. Even the Heil family, three of whose children married three of George's own, come from Northampton County.

Secondly, the Jacob showing up in Northampton County, is exactly the right age as to be born in 1811.

Certainly there is research to be done and the above are merely clues upon which I'm laying a great deal of speculation.

We'll see. For now Jacob of Westmoreland County is "lost".
